My faith is rooted in a beautiful and personal relationship with the person of Jesus. I am not religious at all, strange as that may seem. I'm driven by a personal relationship which drives me to things of the God of love. As hopefully reflected in this site, my love for God flows from only His love for me – experienced everyday, everyway – and Jesus calls you too to know this love of God. It’s not about what we have or have not done – no failure, no sin is too great for the greatness of God! It is all about God’s love for us and what Jesus has already done. Jesus died for us as sinners, that we may forever know God’s love and be saved to eternal life. One of the greatest misunderstandings that people have about the Christian faith is that the Christian faith is only for good people, for nice people, for religious people. Only if you’re good enough can you come to church. Only if you’re good enough can you approach the presence of God.
Listen to what Jesus said in Mark 2, "It is not the healthy that need a doctor but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners."
Well that turns your presumption right on your head doesn’t it. That the Christian faith is actually not for good people, not for healthy people. It is for sick people for bad people for sinners.
Why don't you read through the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and ask God to reveal the truth about Jesus to you for yourself. Don't take my or anyone else's word for it. We have included some additional resources to help you do that.
When you're ready to commit your heart and life to a relationship with Father God, through Jesus, pray this prayer.
Lord I'm a sinner, a failure and spiritually sick. Will you have mercy on me. Not because I deserve it but because of what Christ has done when he died for me. Thank you that when we turn to you in our weakness your come running with open arms. I commit my life to you Jesus, come into my heart and my life and save me. In Jesus name, Amen

We recommend you start with the "How to read the Bible" series. Each short video is beautifully animated and artfully narrated and very approachable. It is fresh and vibrant.
Along with short videos on many themes there is an overview of each book of the bible that is easy to follow and gives a birds eye view of what the book is about. Definitely worth watching before reading any book in the Bible and also by itself. You can access these through the "Videos" menu item and then "Old Testament" or "New Testament".
